Our orthodontic treatment goals mean very little without a competent and qualified staff to deliver them. That’s why we take pride in our professional and courteous staff. Our staff members have multiple certifications and are registered by the state of Texas. They continue to improve and update their many skills through continuing education throughout the year. Our team works hard to make sure you feel comfortable and at-home in our office!
Emma – Treatment and Insurance Coordinator
I’m Emma, a native Texan, born in El Paso but raised in Southern New Mexico where I attended NMSU. I moved to northern Texas seven years ago with my daughter, who attends St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. I have been in orthodontics since 1993. Throughout the years, I have enjoyed all aspects of orthodontics working as a lab and records technician, front desk receptionist, chair side assistant and my current position working with patients and parents as the Treatment and Insurance Coordinator. I help Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes during the new patient exams, follow up with our patients to make sure all of their needs are met, and help them with their insurance processing. I enjoy reading, watching movies, dining with friends, anything outdoors and traveling ANYWHERE!
Gayla – Appointment/Financial Coordinator
My name is Gayla. I have lived in Texas all my life. I have a son, a daughter and eight wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy walking, skiing, swimming, playing golf and traveling with my family. I have worked in orthodontics for over 30 years and love it. My orthodontic experience has ranged from chairside assistant to financial and appointment coordinator. I am currently helping Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes with administrative duties including appointment and financial coordination. Being a part of a team that makes great smiles is so rewarding, and I really love interacting with our patients and their families.
Tracey – Clinical Assistant/ Inventory/Lab Coordinator
Hi, my name is Tracey. I was born in Grand Prairie, TX, but have done some traveling in the last twenty years. I moved back to the DFW area from Arizona to be with family and friends. I have a wonderful husband, Tom. I also have two children, Amanda and Casey, and two wonderful grandsons, Carson and Derrick, who all live in Arizona. I have had the pleasure of being in this field since August of 1979. I love it very much. I help Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes as a clinical assistant. I take care of the office inventory, and make sure our lab runs smoothly. I love horseback riding, movies, sewing, sports, gardening, reading and just spending time relaxing.
Curtis – Clinical Assistant/Lab Coordinator
I’m Curtis and I’m originally from San Diego, California. After living in Hawaii and New Mexico, I have made Texas my home. I have been a clinical assistant in orthodontics since 1999. I help Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes with all clinical duties and make sure that all the lab work gets done. I love my work and making patients feel at home! I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching movies, listening to music, going to concerts, skiing and playing sports.
Gracie – Clinical Assistant/Operatory Coordinator
My name is Gracie and I am originally from Edinburg, Texas. I have spent some time living in the Houston area and now I live in DFW. I have a wonderful husband, three beautiful children and a dog named Polo. I have been working in the orthodontic field since 1999. I help Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes as a clinical assistant and make sure that our operatory runs smoothly. I enjoy going to the movies, bowling and spending time with my family.
Marci – Clinical Assistant/Public Relations
My name is Marci. I was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California. I lived in Huntsville, Texas while my husband was attending school. Since then we have moved to the Dallas area and love it here. Together we have a little boy named Lincoln. I have assisted in orthodontics since 1996, and since my father is an orthodontist, I feel like I have been in the field since birth! I help Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes with all clinical duties and take care of all the fun activities and contests in the office. I love coming to work with a great team and great patients.
