Maryam Mojdehi-Barnes, DDS, MS, PA

Dr. Maryam Mojdehi-Barnes has been dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles for over two decades, with advanced training in orthodontics and a deep commitment to patient care.

She graduated as Valedictorian from Valley Baptist Academy in Harlingen, Texas, before earning a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Texas A&M University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes then went on to Baylor College of Dentistry, where she graduated as Valedictorian (1st out of 97) and earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery, Orthodontic Specialty, and a Master of Science in Biology.

A certified specialist by the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes provides personalized orthodontic care to patients of all ages. With experience as a part-time clinical professor at Baylor’s orthodontic residency program, she is committed to staying at the forefront of orthodontic advancements to ensure the best possible care.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr Barnes! I’ve had two kids work with her - one about to be completely out of braces and another halfway through phase 2 of braces. She was able to correct all the issues my oldest son had (including crowded mouth/mouth too small for teeth, gum recession) without the need to pull teeth or have a connective tissue graft surgery.
