Maryam Mojdehi-Barnes, DDS, MS, PA

Dr. Maryam Mojdehi-Barnes has been dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles for over two decades, with advanced training in orthodontics and a deep commitment to patient care.

She graduated as Valedictorian from Valley Baptist Academy in Harlingen, Texas, before earning a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Texas A&M University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes then went on to Baylor College of Dentistry, where she graduated as Valedictorian (1st out of 97) and earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery, Orthodontic Specialty, and a Master of Science in Biology.

A certified specialist by the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes provides personalized orthodontic care to patients of all ages. With experience as a part-time clinical professor at Baylor’s orthodontic residency program, she is committed to staying at the forefront of orthodontic advancements to ensure the best possible care.

We had a very good experience with Dr. Maryam Mojdehi (my daughter’s orthodontist). Since our first appointment she was professional, patient, and very kind to my daughter. She clearly explained the treatment plan and made sure we were comfortable and informed at every step.

We had an amazing experience with Dr. Maryam Mojdehi and her entire team at Allen Orthodontist.

My daughter’s case was very complicated, and we were honestly worried at the beginning. However, Dr. Mojdehi turned a very difficult situation into a beautiful smile. Her knowledge, patience, and attention to detail truly made all the difference.

What impressed us the most was not only her expertise, but also how well she coordinated with the other two doctors involved in my daughter’s implant treatment. She consistently followed up and worked as a team to make sure everything was done perfectly. That level of care and professionalism gave us so much confidence and peace of mind.

We started with Dr Barnes in 2017 with our now almost 22 year old. Fast forward 8 years and we just finished up with our third kid. Through 8 years and 3 kids, the process with Dr Barnes and her staff has been absolutely seamless. Three perfect smiles later we hate to say goodbye but it’s time.
